The Clinic was merely started by chance, when Eryca was involved in an accident many years ago. She suffered major side affects, most famously, 200 scars in her face. The Doctors gave her various lotions and potions to use. Over a period of time, these caused her skin to change tones, texture and colour. These products caused skin to lighten and bleach as they where potent with steroids.
Her paternal grandmother and her aunt mixed a formula and told her that she had to use it on her face on a daily basis. This would help take her skin back to some sort of normality. Over a period of time she noticed that her skin became almost normal again.
Since then, her family has helped her formulate some natural products, using very simple non chemical ingredients. She calls it 'Eryca's Secret'. These remedies consist of the world's oldest ingredients, using plant extracts, from Africa, India, Australia, Jamaica, Thailand and the UK. Most treatments, included a full head to toe Thai massage, combined with the traditional potion, including everyday items found in the garden and kitchen.
Eryca realizes that women all over the world require the same treatments at different times of the year. For example, in the cold winter month skin can become dry and sensitive, so more oil-enriched items, such as maple syrup, olive and tree oils are called for. In summer months, more astringent, cooling treatments are needed, such as kiwi, berries, and cucumbers. Natural, relaxing, non chemical beauty for all seasons.
Our clients can be picked up from the airport or train station by a chauffeur driven limousine, or executive car. Clients are greeted at The Clinic with freshly made healthy food and champagne.
